Makes me think about a member of the 761st Tank Battalion (The Black Panthers) who said in spring 1945 that he wanted to make more life than he had taken. His buddy said there was no way he'd bed 170 women during his stay (his share of the unit's credited 130,000 credited casualties). Somebody had to satisfy the surfeit of women opened up was his reply.
